I love cloth diapers. I know that’s a silly thing to love. Most people love wine and dessert and napping in a hammock. I love those things too – but there is something special about cloth diapers. How easy is it to get completely trapped in the chaotic whirlwind of life? We fill our schedule with an impossible list of to do’s: working, taking care of our homes, planning meals, attempting to keep tiny humans alive. To live in the homesteading mindset means to live modestly and to also be stewards of our planet. When you find a way to frugally be stewards of the earth, it’s a double victory! Cue cloth diapers. Continue reading “For Love of Cloth”
Doesn’t a fresh snow just warm your heart? There’s nothing I love more than waking up to see a fresh inch or two of snow blanketing the world around us. There’s something magical about the snow – something that brings me back to a sense of childlike wonder and awe.
This morning, I woke to find a fresh inch covering the outside world. Continue reading “Our Time”
